Camie's Confections at Lawton Central Mall

Camilla set up for business in the Lawton Central Mall for a day. She won the opportunity by having the 2nd most votes for her business in a contest on Facebook. The sign was a gift from the mall for each of the six kids that were chosen to set up their business. There were two signs per table, they are actual signs for the kiosks in the mall! That was a really fun surprise!

Camilla worked hard to keep track of her sales. Those pink cupcakes were a huge seller. They are filled with strawberry filling and iced with Camilla's own strawberry frosting.

Yum!! Cheesecake and baklava! Mama was hoping there would be cheesecake left but it sold out!!

Mini Brownies!! Camilla traded some brownies for a bracelet with a little boy that was selling his chain maille jewelry! He was very pleased with the trade. His mom, not so much so, she said he had had enough sugar for one day. His little brother, who claimed to be a partner in the business thought brownies weren't a fair trade, but the older brother told him that as manager he was trading.

Leftovers!! When we got home Camilla's brothers were only interested in knowing what and how much was leftover. They were happy with the findings!!
The day is over, Camilla is tired but satisfied!! She had an awesome experience thanks to the Lawton Mall who put on a fantastic event and learning experience for these kids! Thanks you to everyone who came out and supported all the kids!!
